Experienced
electronics technician available to modify your console. Enables the
playback of backed up discs for Wii and Gamecube, homebrew software
support and multiregion game support. Modification currently
undetectable by Nintendo - Online safe! Changes are totally
reversible.
I supply all the parts and tools, all you need is the console itself.
I can arrange pickup in the Corvallis area, or you can deliver to
my shop in Philomath.
I've modded many units so far, success guaranteed (I put my
own console and game collection on the line each time).
Experienced with DMS, D2A and D2B chipsets - Including those with cut
legs. Unfortunately, the as of yet rare D2C drive chip is
unhackable - If I find this is the case with your console, there will
be no charge. I've also had good luck with repairing consoles
damaged by modification attempts by those less experienced.
Depending upon the severity, rates may vary.

A Wii in the shop ready for opening.

Wiring of Send, Receive, and Clock data lines on a D2B drive chip with cut legs. Chip casing must be filed down
to reveal the traces inside - The most difficult to modify. Power and Ground for modchip taken from points on th PCB.

A chip installed and tested, case ready to be closed and returned to owner. As shown, I use the Atmel ATMEGA-8,
a common general purpose MCU programmed in house with open source code. Current firmware can be configured
and upgraded via DVD.
